Atmore Realty's Broker, Ann Peacock Gordon, was born in Atmore; however, her educational pursuit took her to Birmingham where she and her family lived for 25 years. In 1991 Mrs. Gordon and her family moved back to the Atmore area, where she later opened Atmore Realty. "I wanted to open my own company locally so I revived an old name," "It's nice to come home after so many years and go into business in your own hometown."

Ann's experience was with two national homebuilders, as well as large real estate companies in the Birmingham area which included RE/MAX. She worked in real estate sales, marketing, management and development. She piloted a program for handicapped housing, started a minority owned real estate company, served on the Jefferson County Planning and Zoning Board and served on a HUD Advisory Board for the Southern Region. Ann has 34 years of experience in real estate, and is presently serving on the Board of Directors for the Alabama Association of Realtors. She is listed in the National Who's Who of Executives and Professionals, and writes a column called "Real Estate Facts."
